Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood dismisses ratings war with X Factor

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has blasted rival show The X Factor was only finding "flash-in-the-pan" pop singers.

speaking to Zefumo the star as a result, he wasn't bothered about the weekend ratings war, which Strictly is currently losing by 1.4million viewers.

Craig said: "I really don’t see how the two compare. One’s a talent show for people to become pop singers with the longevity of about a year, ours is a show about celebs learning to dance."

Craig, 44, has openly supported Arlene Phillips, who was replaced by Alesha Dixon on the judging panel this year.

He says he misses Arlene and would happily give up his place for her, although not exactly for the right reasons. Craig said: "I’m so jealous that Arlene’s got the job of being a judge on So You Think You Can Dance
